Albert LeRoy Furman
Albert LeRoy Furman aged 80 of Saranac passed away April 17, 2008 at his home. He was born December 11, 1927 in Ionia, MI, the son of Douglas and Clara (Pierson) Furman.
Albert married Elsie Mosier February 19, 1949 in Barryton.
He retired from General Tire December 31, 1988.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Elsie Furman of Saranac; sons Michael Furman of Saranac, and Phillip and Robin Furman of Saranac; brothers Cecil and Emma Furman of Ionia, and Gordon and Gaylen Furman of Muir; sisters Mary Swain of Crooked Lake, and Alice and Francis Fox of Ionia; Grandchildren Jessica Partridge of Belding and great grand child Paxton Partridge.
He is preceded in death by 1 son Steven and 1 brother Ralph.
Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A.M at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Frank Lattimore officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday 5-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Ionia. In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to Lansing Area Hospice.
