Kenneth Emelander
Kenneth Duane Emelander aged 55 ,life long resident of Keene Township passed away September 1, 2008. he was born May 10, 1953 in Ionia, the son of Stanley and Dorothy (Phillips) Emelander. He was employed at America Bumper-now Meridan Automotive for 26 years. Kenneth loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by 4 children, Victoria and Erik Thompson of Okinawa, Japan, Timothy Emelander of Ovid, Jeffery and Amber Emelander of Ionia, and Jeremy Emelander of Belding; brother John Emelander of Saranac; sisters Linda Emelander of Ionia, Kathryn and Carl Werner of Muskegon, and Polly Emelander of Elkart, IN, grandchildren Benjamin, Cameron, Zachary, Alexander, and Allye. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Stanley and brother Charles and sister Debra Lynn. Funeral services will held 1:00 P.M. Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with Rev Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment at Pinckney Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 2-4 and 6-8:00 P.M. the funeral home. In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to the charity of your choice.
