Frank Lee Barnes
Frank Lee Barnes aged 71 of Lyons passed away August 21, 2008. He was born April 5, 1937 in Pewamo the son of Hugh and Jennie (Resler) Barnes.
Frank served in the Army. He worked for the Village of Lyons for over 30 years. He was a member of the Hubbardston American Legion.
Frank is survived by his brothers Richard Barnes of Florida and George and Bette Barnes of Lyons. Sisters June Ferris of Ionia and Caroline and Douglas Laney of Ionia. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John while in WWII.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 2:30 P.M. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Muir. Visitation will be on Sunday 2-4 and 7-8:30 at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Devore Island Band Stand Fund in care of the Village of Lyons.
