Dr. Fred E. Endres
Dr. Fred E. Endres aged 83 of Ionia, passed away October 28, 2008. He was born August 1, 1925 in Freeport, MI, the son of Lawrence and Alta (Wait) Endres.
He married Kathleen Wieber September 22, 1972 in St. Johns.
Fred served in WW II. in the army. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Lake Odessa 4601 VFW.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen Endres of Ionia; son Matthew and Jessica Endres of Lake Odessa; daughter Lorna Dunn of Clarksville; grandchildren Hali and Robby Grinstern and Zoe and Levi Dunn; brother Duane Endres of Freeport; sister Lucille Ashley of Howard City; sister in law Greta Endres of Lake Odessa and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Gerald, Benjamin, and Keith.
Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 A.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Melvin Fox celebrant. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Rosary service will be held 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to Grand Rapids Area Hospice, Altzheimer’s Association or Commission on Aging.
