Frances Marie Sherman
Frances Marie Sherman is now at peace. She slipped away quietly in her sleep at Lacey’s Assisted Living Home on June 3, 2008. She was born in Belding in 1919 to Winfred and Bertha (Perry) Johnson. She was married to William Sherman who preceded her in death on July 4, 1989. Frances and Bill had three children, James (Sharon), John (Pat) and Rose Emmons and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She lived most of her married life on Johnson Road, Easton Township and the last 13 years in Saranac. Besides her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Frances is survived by her sister Reva Byers. We would like to thank the ladies at Lacey’s for the loving care they gave mom. Also many thanks to Hospice for making Mom more comfortable in her final days.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Easton United Methodist Church with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating. Interment at Easton Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday 5:00-8:00 at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to Easton United Methodist Church.
