Harold Lloyd Marshall
Harold Lloyd Marshall age 81, of Muir passed away August 22, 2008 in Ionia. He was born April 26, 1927 in Grand Ledge the son of Don and Evelyn (Kingsley) Marshall. Harold married Mary Sheaffer October 11, 1952 in Lansing. He retired from General Motors June of 1983 where he worked as a tool grinder. He was a member of American Legion in Hubbardston, Ionia Moose Lodge and Local 652 Retirees of Lansing.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Mary (Demerice) Marshall of Muir; children, Susan and Bruce Henry of Grand Rapids, David Marshall of Muir, Chris and Debbie Marshall of Muir, Timothy and Julie Marshall of Ionia and Kathy Marshall of Maryland and 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 A.M. at Lyons Muir Church with Rev. Bert Nelson officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Muir. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Harold’s name to Lyons Muir Church or American Heart Association.
