John Harris
John Harris aged 64 of Ionia, passed away July 10, 2008. He was born February 16, 1944, in Greenville, North Carolina ,the son of Levy and Beatrice(Murphy) Harris. John served in tha Army during Vietnam War and was a Animal control Officer for Ionia County in the 1980's.
John is survived by his loving wife Sharon Harris of Orleans; daughter, Belinda and Todd Schafer of Ionia; stepchildren, Duane Fisher and Tammy Nickell of Fenwick and Jamie Fisher and Susan Dzik of Orleans; brother, Ray and JoAnn Harris of Ionia; grandchildren, Riley, Owen, Ian and Sarah Schafer and Crissy Fisher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Jim Harris and 1 grandson Duane John Fisher III
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at Shiloh Community Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
