Jeanette Hummel aged 74 of Ionia passed away July 6, 2008. She was born January 15, 1934, the daughter of Floyd and Dorthea ( Loveland) Denny. She married Clifford Hummel March 13, 1953 who proceeded her in death April 24, 2006.

Jeanette attended Shiloh Community Church.

She is survived by her children Pam Edwards of Ionia and Mike Hummel of Fenwick; brother Robert and (Vivian) Denny of Hickory Corners; sisters Joyce and (Oliver) Boulter of Hastings, Marion Maurer of Charlotte, Katheryn DeWitt of Hastings, and Judith and (Bruce) Hopkins of Greenville; 6 grandchildren Hope and (Billy) Blanchard, Heidi and (John) Mills, Derek Edwards, Max Dustin, Melissa and (Jimmy) Lance, and Michael Hummel; and 9 great grand children Gavin, Hannah, Parker, Paige, Logan, Austin, Kayleigh, Layla and Joshua.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and daughter in law Lois Hummel

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M Thursday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment at Palo Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home . In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to the family of Jeanette.
