Joyce Martin
Joyce Martin age 74 of Ionia formerly of Delton passed away October 18, 2008 in Lake Odessa. She was born February 10, 1934 in Battle Creek the daughter of Clarence and Thelma (Hoffman) Jacobs. Joyce married Dale Martin October 17, 1959 who preceded her in death in 1987.
Joyce is survived by her children, Kathy Ruid of Ionia, Deb Haas of Kalamazoo, Bob Martin and Colleen McQueen of Dowling, Lynne Yarger of Greenville and Patti and Tim Morris of Vermontville; brothers, Michael and Terri Jacobs of Washington, Roger Jacobs of Midland and Phil and Becky Jacobs of Battle Creek; sister, Jan and Nello Hoffman of Florida; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Beverlee Cole and Beulah (Boots) Carbine.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, 1:00 P.M. at Hickory Corners Cemetery.
