Kenneth Beckhorn
Kenneth Frank Beckhorn, age 85 of Ionia, passed away October 5, 2008 in Ionia. He was born March 20, 1923 in Ionia the son of Frank and Emily (Coates) Beckhorn.
He worked for Ionia Fire Dept. as a fireman, owned and operated Valley Lea Milk and worked for Indian Summer Orchards as a foreman where he retired from.
Kenneth is survived by his children; Terry and Sandy Beckhorn of Lowell, Thomas and Dawn Beckhorn of Ionia, Tim Beckhorn and Carol Moore of Saranac, Anne and John Jarman of Hastings and Cherie Beckhorn of Chelsea; sisters, Anita Reynolds of Ionia and Mary and Jim Lewis of Ionia, 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Fred, Harold and Robert and Winona.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 8 P.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Dan Graybell officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday 6 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home. You may make a memorial contribution in Kenneth’s name to Ionia Hospice.
