Leora D. Erb
Leora D. Erb aged 88 of Saranac passed away September 20, 2008. She was born May 28, 1920 in Easton Twp., MI, the daughter of James and Marion Grummet.
Leora married LaVern Erb November 4, 1950 in Indiana who preceded her in death August 11, 2000. She worked for J.C. Penny Co. in Ionia for many years and was a member of South Boston Bible Church.
Leora is survived by her children: Edward Duane and Janet Walter of Barryton, Rosalyn (Rose) and Richard Wright of Saranac, Linda and Ron Clouse of Saranac and Allan Erb of Ionia. One brother Donald and Shirley Grummet of Saranac. Sisters Thelma Rowley of Ionia, Lois Solomon of Ionia, Alice Courter of Saranac and Donna Battle of Saranac. 18 Grandchildren, 41 Great Granchildren and 9 Great great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral Services will held Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at South Boston
Church with Rev. Ronald Tuinstra officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
