Mollie J. Blough
Mollie J. Blough age 90, of Lowell passed away August 21, 2008 in Ionia. She was born February 14, 1918 in Long River, Prince Edward, Canada the daughter of Bernard and Mary Jane (Bolger) Fitzsimmons.
Mollie married Louis Blough November 21, 1938 in Essex, Ontario Canada who preceded her in death in August 5, 2004.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Mollie is survived by her children; Carmine Borden of Saranac, Roger Blough of Georgia, Arthur and Veronica Blough of Lowell, Joan and Dennis Sisson of Arkansas, Ruth and Roger Rowley of Ionia, Phyllis and Jerry Huver of Saranac, Angela and Scott Slaght of Freeport and Martha and Rob Fuhst of Conklin; 21 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Dale, 7 brothers and 6 sisters.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Saranac with Father Donald Weber celebrant. Interment Saranac Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church, with a Rosary being held at 10:45 A.M. also at the church.
