Milton D. Griswold
Milton D. Griswold, age 67 of Lyons passed away July 23, 2008 in Ionia. He was born April 9, 1941 in Lansing the son of Milton L. and Bernice (Wood) Griswold. Milton married Karen November 10, 1984 in Holt. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member and founder of Mason Area Bass Anglers, member and co-founder of Ingham County Bass Casters and past member of Perrinton VFW. He loved to fish and camp.
Milton is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Karen Griswold of Lyons; children, Jeffery Griswold of Lansing, Kenneth and Erica Griswold of Carson City, Daniel and Anne Griswold of Alabama, Chris Griswold of Florida, Chad Patrick of Lansing, Frank and Deanna Tanner of Texas, Deana and Forrest Kraft of Georgia, Lisa and Will Rose of Texas, and Allan Tanner of Lyons; brother, Terry Griswold; sisters, Barbara and Kenneth Ingersol of California and Linda Patrick of Holt; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday 1-3 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to Milton’s family.
