Maxine D. Scheurer
Maxine D. Scheurer aged 87 of Lyons passed away May 8, 2008. She was born December 31, 1920 in Grand Ledge, the daughter of Lynn and Minnie Louise (Hiesrodt) Skinner
She worked around the farm most of her life and loved her flower gardens.
Maxine married Shirley R “Shird“ Scheurer August 11, 1951 . He preceded her in death November 15, 1997.
She is survived by brothers Ron and Marge Skinner of Grand Ledge; sister Josephine Davis of Lansing; brother in law Allen and Berneda Scheurer of Ionia and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by 1 brother Willard Skinner and sisters Marguerite Calhoun and Ruth Brace, brother and sister in laws Harold and Bertha Scheurer, Kenny and Jennette Scheurer, Robert and Joyce Scheurer and Leonard and Jean Hausserman
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Clint Galloway officiating. Interment at Balcom Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
