Ronald Doran Colman
Ronald Doran Colman aged 50 of Ionia, passed away July 31, 2008. He was born December 25, 1957, in Lansing, the son of Roger and Donna (Gee) Colman. He married Cathy October 18, 2000.
Ronald worked for General Motors Oldsmobile in Lansing and Metal Fabricating Plant in Grand Rapids for 27 years.
He loved hunting, camping and motorcycling. Ronald was a member of Ionia Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his loving wife Cathy Colman of Ionia. His father Roger and Naomi Colman of Grand Rapids, and his mother Donna and Bruce Fuller of Olivet; step children Heather and Kevin Gibbons of St. Johns, Troy and Breanne Garland of Pullman, and Teja and Yvette Garland of Kinde; brothers Robert and Joans Herron of California, Dennis and Laurie Herron of Florida, and Vern and Jill Griswold of Ionia; sister Michelle and Scott Briggs of Ionia; step grandchildren Kristen Gibbons, Ethan Garland, Payton Garland and Zane Garland; nephews Travis Griswold and Tyler Colman; nieces Tara Faulkner, Kortne Baker, Morgan Herron and Kasandra Thelen.
Ronald is preceded in death by his grandparents Cecil and Marjorie Gee and George and Alice Brown.
Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. Jeff Heimsoth officiating. Interment at Balcom Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
