Robert A. Zamarron
We celebrate the life of Bob Zamarron as the angels carried him home to be with his Lord October 17, 2008. He was born July 6, 1929 in Ashley, Michigan the son of Trinidad and Amelia (Martinez) Zamarron. He married Donna Abbott in 1950.
Bob served in the Air Force. He was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church of Carson City. He worked for General Motors in skilled trades before retiring after 34 years. He was a member of UAW local 652.
Bob is survived by his wife Donna Zamarron of Carson City; Children Adele and Kurt Bancroft of Eureka, Alan and Teri Zamarron of Whitehall, Mark and Jackie Zamarron of Perrinton and Christy and Bob Green of Lake Odessa. Brothers Ben of North Carolina, Dan of Middleton, George and Jean of Ithaca, Tom and Mary of Ithaca, Ralph an Sara of Eureka and Ted and Carol of Perrinton. 6 grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren. Sister in law Fran Abbott of Middleton. Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother and 1 brother in law Norman Abbott.
Memorial services will be held Friday, October 24, 2008, 11:00 A.M. at The Calvary Lutheran Church, 509 W. Elm St. Carson City, Pastor Kenneth Williamson officiating.
