Margaret Doris Schiller
Margaret (Doris) Schiller age 91 of Saranac passed away September 24, 2008 in Grand Rapids. She was born February 6, 1917 in Toronto, Canada. She came to the U.S. when she was 12 and would later move to Saranac in 1999. Margaret married Robert H. Schiller in Dearborn, MI September 8, 1938 he preceded her in death April 24, 1981. She was a member of Ionia Literacy Club and Boston-Saranac Historical Society.
Margaret is survived by her son, Craig and Leslie Schiller of Florida; daughter, Janice and Neil Renwick of Saranac, 5 granddaughters and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 A.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with Rev. John Madvig officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery. You may make memorial contributions in Margaret’s name to Saranac Fire Department or Saranac Library.
