Christine Seiler
Christine Jane Seiler, 59, went to rest with Jesus on June 21, 2008 after a long and brave journey with ALS “Lou Gehrig Disease.” She was born May 1, 1949 in Ionia the daughter of Darrell and Maxine (Duell) Page. Christine was a medical assistant for Dr. Kopchick and Dr. Landino and was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was a former leader of 4-H. She was an avid MSU fan, loved to garden, read, golf, play softball, and cross stitch. Christine is survived by her mother, Maxine Page; sons, Joel (Angie) Seiler and Jason (Tiffany) Seiler; daughters, Connie (Abe) Sines and Carrie (Joe) Haeck; brother, Kevin (Sharon) Page; sister, Barb (Bill) Thomas; grandchildren, Deven, Abbygail, Andrea, Jacob, Spencer, Nathan, Brittany, Dalton and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell; grandson, Taggart Sines and brother, Terry Page. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Melvin Fox celebrant. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday 6-8:30 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. A scripture service will be held Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Christine’s name may be made to A.L.S Foundation or Ionia Commission on Aging. |
