Sherry Lynn Maddox
Sherry Lynn Maddox age 57 of Detroit formerly of Lyons, passed away September 9, 2008 in Detroit. She was born September 5, 1951 in Lansing the daughter of Richard and Vernice (Winnie) Payne. Sherry married Kenneth Maddox March 21, 1970. She was a member of Mid Union Sled Haulers association.
Sherry is survived by her husband Kenneth of Detroit; children, Toby and Sue Maddox of Sand Lake, Anna and Mark Volgel of Detroit, Wesley Maddox of Coldwater and Jessica Maddox of Detroit; brothers, Richard Payne of Greenville, Timothy Payne of Portland and George Payne of Lyons; sisters, Linda Witherel of Belding, Debra and Scott Warner of Ionia and Christine and David Smith of Lyons; grandchildren, David, Kelly, Julia, Paige, Hailey, Sam and Luke.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grandparents, mother in law and father in law
Funeral services will be held Friday, 12:00 P.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Sherry’s name to the family.
