Thomas Clare Sutliff
Thomas Clare Sutliff aged 78 of Ionia passed away October 6, 2008. He was born September 2, 1930 in Detroit the son of Clare F. and Jenny M. (Tripfeller) Sutliff. He married Shirley Zeigler April 11, 1954 in Indiana.
He was involved in church leadership for many years. He loved to bowl, Hunt, Camp, fish and Little League.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Sutliff of Ionia. Children Thomas and Lillian Sutliff Jr. of Lake Odessa, Donna Campbell of Ionia, Patricia Gonzalez of Barton, Florida, George and Barb Sutliff of Ionia and Clare and Tami Sutliff of Lake Odessa. 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers in law.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother and 1 sister and 1 grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday 1:00 P.M. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Roy Atherton officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday 1-3 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to the Sutliff Family.
